Why it matters
Fresh & Clear is a stainless steel bowl fountain holding 64 fl oz. A recirculating system keeps water flowing, which cools and aerates it.
One replaceable carbon filter is included; replacements are sold separately.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Stainless
- Simple
- Aerated water
Cons
- 64 oz
- Corded
- Filters extra
Limitations to weigh
- Take the fountain apart and clean the pump at least weekly; slime builds fastest in warm rooms and with wet-food eaters.
- Change filters on the maker's schedule; the cost-per-month calculator shows what that adds up to.
- Keep the water above the minimum line; most pumps stop or wear out when they run dry.
