Why it matters
A simple desk perch that clamps on with an adjustable bracket. The faux-fur pad contours to a curled cat, and it comes off for the washer.
The maker rates it up to 50 lb.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- First-time desk-bed buyers
- Home offices
- Curled sleepers
Look elsewhere if
- Desks with thick, rounded or glass edges
- Cats that won't settle while you type
- Heavy cats beyond the stated limit
Pros and cons
Pros
- Adjustable bracket
- Washable pad
- Rated to 50 lb
Cons
- Basic frame
- Needs a straight edge
- No rotation
Limitations to weigh
- Check your desk edge thickness and the clamp range before buying; a thin or rounded edge may not hold the bracket.
- Check the care label: some covers come off for the washer, others need spot cleaning or a gentle cycle.
- Test the clamp before first use.
