Why it matters
PELUOMOZ's 36 in post sits on a 15 in square wooden base with a reinforced inner tube to cut wobble, and adds plush toys.
It's tall enough for long-bodied cats to fully extend.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Long-bodied cats
- Adult cats
- Playful cats
Look elsewhere if
- Cats that only scratch carpet
- Very large cats on small posts
- Owners expecting cardboard to last
Pros and cons
Pros
- 36 in
- Reinforced tube
- Toys
Cons
- Toys wear
- Spot clean
- Assembly
Limitations to weigh
- Put scratchers where your cat already scratches: by doors, beds and the sofa arm.
- A pinch of catnip or a wand toy dragged across it helps a cat find it.
- Replace worn surfaces before they're flat.
