Why it matters
Hey-brother adds a climbing step on the side so elderly cats and cats with mobility issues can reach the levels of this 60.6 in tree. It has a perch, cave, basket, pompom and hammock.
It's light, so anchor it.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Senior cats
- Mixed-age homes
- Average cats
Look elsewhere if
- Small rooms with low ceilings
- Owners who can't anchor it
- Elderly cats that struggle to climb
Pros and cons
Pros
- Side step
- Many spots
- Tall
Cons
- Narrow base
- Light
- Anchor needed
Limitations to weigh
- Stand tall trees against a wall or in a corner; anchor with the strap if one is supplied.
- Re-tighten the bolts every few weeks; posts loosen as cats climb.
- Measure your biggest cat nose to tail: perches should be longer than your cat lying down.
