Why it matters
Heybly wraps all three posts of this 39 in cactus tree fully in sisal, so there's more to scratch, and adds two hanging baskets and a soft platform. The base is reinforced and the edges rounded.
It's wide at 32.7 in.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Heavy scratchers
- Basket nappers
- Living rooms
Look elsewhere if
- Large cats over about 15 lb on small trees
- Owners who can't anchor tall trees
- Cats that leap hard onto top perches
Pros and cons
Pros
- Full sisal
- Two baskets
- Reinforced base
Cons
- Wide footprint
- Mid height
- Assembly
Limitations to weigh
- Measure your biggest cat nose to tail: perches and boxes should be longer than your cat.
- Re-tighten bolts every few weeks; posts loosen as cats climb.
- Stand tall trees against a wall and use the anti-tip strap if supplied.
