Why it matters
The CL70L sits on metal legs in a green-and-gold finish, a furniture look rather than a pet product. Its enclosed structure is designed to keep dogs and other pets away from the box.
It's 28.3 x 17.7 in and 21.7 in tall, so check that your box fits.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Multi-pet homes
- Decor-led rooms
- Smaller boxes
Look elsewhere if
- Self-cleaning boxes unless the inside fits them
- Very large cats if the entry is small
- Homes without room for a cabinet-size piece
Pros and cons
Pros
- Dog-proof design
- Furniture styling
- Raised legs
Cons
- Smaller interior
- Assembly
- Finish shows scratches
Limitations to weigh
- Measure your litter box (length, width and height with the lid) and compare it to the enclosure's inside space, not the outside size.
- Enclosures trap smell as well as hide it: scoop daily and keep the vent holes clear.
- Introduce it slowly: leave the doors open or the box half-in for a few days so your cat finds the new entrance.
