Why it matters
KARCEEY's hanging bed uses four ropes in a rectangle instead of a single hook, which the maker says stops the spinning that scares cats. It's cotton macrame and mounts to a wall, ceiling or window frame.
Hardware is included.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Boho decor
- Cats that like height
- Corners
Look elsewhere if
- Weak ceilings or drywall without studs
- Cats nervous of movement
- Heavy cats without strong anchors
Pros and cons
Pros
- Four-rope stability
- Machine washable
- Hardware included
Cons
- Needs solid mount
- Swings a little
- Not all cats like hanging beds
Limitations to weigh
- Mount wall shelves into studs or with rated anchors; check screws regularly.
- Choose a weight rating well above your cat's weight; jumping adds force.
- Hang it low at first.
