Why it matters
The SnugCloud adds a four-sided bolster in faux rabbit fur to Zakkart's foldable frame, so a curled cat has an edge all round. It folds up when the curtains close.
The maker rates it to about 35 lb; the cover is machine washable.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Curled sleepers
- Cold windows
- Rooms with curtains
Look elsewhere if
- Textured, tinted or film-covered glass (suction models)
- Sills too shallow for brackets
- Cats over the weight rating
Pros and cons
Pros
- Four-sided bolster
- Folds flat
- Washable
Cons
- Suction checks
- Fur shows hair
- Needs clear glass
Limitations to weigh
- Suction cups need clean, smooth, flat glass; reseat and check them weekly.
- Choose a weight rating well above your cat's weight; jumping adds force.
- Place it where the cat can see birds or the street.
