Why it matters
Bedsure's ComfyFleece bed is 20 in across with high sides that make an extra-deep nest; the maker describes it as a 360-degree semi-enclosed shape. The outside is corduroy, the inside a soft faux fur, filled with PP cotton that holds its shape.
A non-skid bottom keeps it in place on hard floors.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Cats that like privacy
- Cats that curl tightly
- Hard floors
Look elsewhere if
- Cats that prefer sleeping flat out on hard floors
- Owners who need an outdoor-rated bed
- Very large cats if the bed is sized small
Pros and cons
Pros
- Extra-deep sides
- Shape-holding fill
- Non-skid bottom
Cons
- 20 in only
- Not for stretch-out sleepers
- Hair shows on faux fur
Limitations to weigh
- Measure your cat curled up and stretched out; a bed that's too big loses the snug, enclosed feel many cats want.
- Check the care label: some covers come off for the washer, others need spot cleaning or a gentle cycle.
- Cats pick beds by location as much as by fabric: try a warm, quiet spot with a view before deciding a bed is a miss.
