Why it matters
Vceoa's carrier is the top seller in its category: 19 x 12 x 12 in, soft-sided with mesh panels, collapsible for storage and rated for cats up to 22 lb. The maker advises choosing by your cat's size, not weight alone.
The maker states plainly that it isn't for airlines, so treat it as a car and vet carrier.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Vet visits
- Car trips
- Large cats up to 22 lb
Look elsewhere if
- Cats larger than the stated weight or size
- Flights without checking the airline's limits
- Cats that chew mesh
Pros and cons
Pros
- Roomy
- Collapsible
- Mesh ventilation
Cons
- Not for flights
- Soft walls flex
- Basic padding
Limitations to weigh
- Measure your cat nose to tail-base and shoulder height; it should be able to stand and turn around inside.
- Leave the carrier out at home with a blanket and treats inside so your cat sees it as a den, not a vet trip.
- Clip it into the car with a seat belt through the handles.
